Undergraduate Thesis Students

Dr. Rawana’s current research interests includes broadly adolescent health promotion and risk reduction; depression in adolescents; emergence of seasonal depression in adolescents, cognitive vulnerability to depression, relationship between mood and risk behaviours, developing and evaluating strength-based prevention programs for Aboriginal youth.

Potential honour thesis students should apply to Dr. Rawana with a written statement of research interest, a current CV, an unofficial transcript, and a sample of their writing. Students should have a least a B+ average and have a strong statistical and research background in their previous years of study. Students should propose preliminary research areas when submitting their supervision request.
